  4. Everybody has glasses these days anyway. Don't worry, besides, you could always get the same glasses as my father (they're pink). ;)

  5. You aren't getting old, my dear... just gaining more experience.

  6. I can't do the bifocal thing due to a car accident, so I run around with two pairs of glasses, one of which I'm always losing, so that makes me REALLY seem old! ;-)

If by experience you are referring to lines, wrinkles and soft spots, then sir, you are correct.

    jen-
I have been trying that two pair of glasses thing and it only leaves me with a headache and yes, lost glasses...
Trying the new granny look for now and hoping for the best!

  10. My optician actually snickered when my perscription showed up with a +1.0 for the first time. I've been going there for years, and we both had a good laugh about how it's the second thing to go (after my hair turning ash-blond upon my daughter's birth, for me).

  12. Well, I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old and can't wear contacts because I get corneal erosions and refuse to do the lasik thing cause it scares the crap out of me. I have been wearing progressive lenses since I was FORTY, yes, 4-0. They are like trifocals. But, old...nah---just a state of mind...for now *smile*

Oh---I'm 55 now and NOT old!
