Something to find more by: life in Holland, Singular Saturday, these are the things I whine about
Local Time
Is that good or bad for you? Happy SS!
ReplyDeleteLiving in the middle of practically-prairie, all I can say is: I know what you mean. My sympathies.
ReplyDeleteOooooo - really? Eek.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely don't envy you in that!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of Nebraska: there is nothing to block the wind and it rolls, uninterrupted, for hundreds of miles and cuts right through you. I'm still trying to figure out why it rains so much. Someone was trying to convince me that the hills at the German border cause the clouds to drop rain "just like any other mountain range".
ReplyDelete'only by Dutch standards... :)
Below sea level, northern Europe, nothing to block the wind.
ReplyDeleteYup. I can hear it now.

ReplyDeleteYeah, may the wind be always at your back. NEVER at your front when you are trying to cycle.
Second that, relentless indeed!

ReplyDeleteFeel like I am on my way to OZ sometimes. :)
There are times at night when I wake up in the dark and want to run for the cellar! Then I remember that we are not in Texas and this is not a tornado, just a bad batch of Holland weather.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, however, I still want to run for the cellar.
Too bad I don't have one. And if I did, it would be underwater. (sigh)
Now I'm really homesick...
Just came back to check who else is playing and I LOVE THE NEW MASTHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI screwed up my last post. I've never liked wind. Makes me uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteNow, come on over when you can. I've tagged you for a meme. Play if you like. Here it is:
Big Bang World Record
Hope you're having a great weekend!
ugh. anything is survivable short term, but relentless ain't good :( hope there's a break soon.
ReplyDeleteEeek!! You changed your look! I thought I had gotten lost!! It will take some getting used to, but I think I like it. Except that it reminds me of the wind. And that I don't like...
ReplyDeleteYou're changing things up here. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteI hope the winds ease up. Happy cycling!
I like the new picture!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm joining singular Saturday, though I probably be doing it in Dutch.

ReplyDeletelet me practise once more:
